models
I have been building static display models for many years. Over the past few years I have been focusing on adding more extra details like working lights, back-lit instrument panels, motorized rotors or props, and movable/functional mechanisms that the kit didn't offer. I build mostly civilian aircraft, motorcycles, cars, and the occasional military aircraft. If there is a particular model that you need built, just let me know all the details that you want, such as the scale, paint scheme, and amount of detail.

current project; Honda 750 (9)
This is a 1/6 scale model of the Honda 750 racing type. I am adding a lot of extra details and have been working on it for quite a while. It's my 'between projects' project. When I opened the box, I found the front tire half melted. Since it's an out of production kit, a new one is not available. The company did send a set of replacement tires from a road bike version. They fit, but they are not the correct racing tires. I haven't decided if I want to use them or cast my own new front tire. In the mean time I'm keeping my eye on ebay for one. Enjoy the pics. And yes, It will be for sale when it's done. -
Ducati (3)
This bike was built from the box without a lot of extras. The only thing I really did was to replace the front shocks with pieces of drill rod to simulate actuall crome shocks. You could see the red through the white decals, so all of the white areas were painted, which came out much nicer than the decals. This model is available for sale. -
Homers car (4)
This was a fun project. I went all out making sure that all of the important details are there. According to my reference materials (THE HOMER BOOK), I had to: replace the kit tires with extra-noisy year-round snow tires, add a magic 8-ball gear shift, add a gas pedal shaped like a bare foot, put in shag carpeting, and install a deluxe supercharged V8 engine. Of course since the kit didn't include an engine, I had to cut the hood and hinge it so it could open. I also added a sound card and a switch under the hood so when you press down on it, Homer says one of eight road-rage phrases. A shiny coat of green paint was the final step to perfectly replicating the car that Homer designed. And yes, it is for sale. Enjoy. -
Huskie (16)
These are a pair of Kaman Huskies I built for an Airforce Base Museum. One of them is made to match the aircraft at the museum and the other one is motorized to demonstrate how the blades rotate without hitting each other. The motorized one is still at the museum, but the detailed one is available for sale. -
Bell (5)
This is a motorized bell. Contact me if you are interested in purchasing this model.
