cargo net seating
This is a back side view during construction. The 'cargo-net' seating was scratch made to match the seating in the full size aircraft.

This is the motorized model on the seat of the actual aircraft at the museum. They installed a button on the side door for visitors to push so that they could see the blades rotate.

I used a modified r/c aircraft servo to turn the blades. That way they turn slow enough to see how they mesh without hitting each other. By removing the mechanical stops and the electronics of the servo, it can turn continuous.

One thing I did to help in the detail was to replace the kits 'molded-in' screen detail with actual screen material for the engine compartment venting/cooling. There are two more toward the front of the model.
